How long is the drive from Marrakech to Merzouga?
The drive is quite long but very scenic. It takes about 7 to 8 hours on the first day to reach Dades Valley, and around 4 to 5 hours on the second day to reach the Merzouga dunes. We make frequent stops at panoramic views, kasbahs, and cafes along the way.
Is the camel trek difficult? What if I don't want to ride a camel?
The camel trek takes about 1 hour to reach the camp and is suitable for beginners. However, if you prefer not to ride camels, we can arrange a 4x4 vehicle to transfer you to the desert camp at no extra cost (please inform us in advance).
What should I pack for the desert trip?
We recommend packing:
Comfortable walking shoes and sandals.
A warm jacket or fleece (desert nights can get cold, even in summer).
Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat or scarf for sun protection.
A small backpack or overnight bag (you can leave your large luggage safely in the tour vehicle).
A power bank for your phone/camera.

Are there showers and electricity at the desert camp?
Yes! We use fully equipped desert camps. Depending on the option you choose (Standard or Luxury), you will have access to private or shared bathrooms, hot showers, and electricity outlets to charge your devices.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions (Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten-Free)?
Absolutely. Traditional Moroccan dishes like Tagine and Couscous can easily be prepared to fit your dietary needs. Please let us know about any food allergies or restrictions when booking.
